How tap tempo works
Tap along with a song or loop and the tool averages your recent tap intervals into a BPM estimate. Older taps are ignored so the reading settles quickly if you correct your timing.
Use the rounding controls when you want a clean DAW tempo, or keep the decimal value when matching a live recording that drifts slightly.
Producer workflow
Once you have the tempo, copy delay times or open the full Delay Time Calculator. You can also use the Metronome at the same BPM to check whether the detected tempo feels right against the track.
